About The Community and School
The City and Community
Escondido California is located in north county San Diego and has a population of 143,911. It encompasses 22 charter and private schools along with three union high school and elementary districts. Most students live with in walking distance of their school. For those who don’t the public transportation system is expansive and has won several awards for being green and affordable.
The School
The school:
San Pasqual Mission statement and direction is currently in flux. While the school and it’s staff are as dedicated to students learning than ever, as a team they have decided to change the school to fall in line with new educational trends and innovations. With a new principle, and the New common core curriculum around the corner the staff and teachers are ramping up to make this as seamless as possible to students.

The students as San Pasqual High school have a lot of school sprit. While sports and school actives are valued at most high schools San Pasqual students are highly energetic about their school. Students regularly attend games, and more so they often advocate to the community so join as well. If a disconnect between community and students does exist it’s has more to do with miss understanding of the represented cultures rather than students unwillingness to grow their community.
